My Unimaginative Attempt
Maybe I tried to be to structural in my attempt at this. To simple to have fun with this. I'll make this more open. What should I say I do have preconceived notions but who doesn't. I was raised blue collar with the blue collar attitude. What tends me to love the same stories as all of us did and had the same icons. I have that same love for Rocky like an kid growing up and being raised in similar situations as I did. That small time guy who never had a true shot gets his shot and tries to make it. I have that preconceived notion. Or idolizing guys such as Arnold the Arnold. I loved Arnold for different reasons or maybe not so much; Arnold was the idea of the American dream. Immigrated here built himself up and showed that you can come to the country and make your dreams come true. Of course including Bruce Lee, Bruce Lee no matter how irrelevant he may seem today, without him martial arts may not of spread as much as it has and been widely accepted as it is. That's besides the point he added to the mystery of the martial arts with his philosophy of style and change. So is it wrong to have certain views maybe, but I'm open to new ones. I love the judgement I've received already for my rambling style of writing and closed mindedness if that is even a word, but I am trying. I thought that is what blog were ramblings of mad men, but I guess I should get an English professor to criticize my writing so the geniuses on the Internet can understand me good cause me speak good English. But I'm going to keep trying because one thing I do know is that no matter how high you fly people always try to bring you down.

Which Path To Take On The Road?
Okay....... so I started doing some research on schools on LI. But I don't know what my plan of attack should be. How should I build the character of my fighting tactics? Should I try to become more of a ground and pound fighter? Will it better as far as my built and body type to be more accustomed to wrestling and boxing? I have above average size and strength, so would that type of game and game plan address me better. Or should I have more of a finesse game work on a basic Brazilian Jiu Jitsu game so I have more of a submission aspect while still maintaining a confindent stand up game. Please help me as far as my understanding of what would help me best. Should I attempt to mix more unorthodox martial arts; such as aikido or something of that nature. Simply knowing and following UFC history and other outfits lets me see that unorthodox styles may not be signs of a champion but maybe somebody can convince me otherwise.....I am interested in peoples input and what they think; can you please post comments and your outlook on this subject..I would greatly appreciate all the help I can get.

My First Post
I truly do not know how to begin this story. Maybe its best to start with where I came from. Most people choose to describe their life as how much money their family had growing up. My family had a lower to middle class background where you weren't working you were a bum if you were it was most likely something made you break your back or sweat; but not by choice of course. I was raised that sweat and blood got you what you wanted but it was never all you wanted it was just what you needed. It created an underdog perspective in my life, me against the world. But life wasn't all serious my hard work paid off and gave me many great things. My life story will come as our journey moves on but for now; I want to try to remain anonymous for the first purpose of this blog......We will get to that. What happens now is my work paid off I made money and enough of it where money doesn't matter anymore. So I decided I am going to do something for myself. I am going to pursue my dream I've always wanted since I watched the first UFC in my uncles basement as a kid. My dream was to become an mma fighter. For the first time in my life I have the time and money to dedicate myself to that dream. So to start my journey I am first in search for the best training facility in my area of long island, NY. So I am in search......I will update my journey to the top as much as possible. Every stop I make I will write about so continue to check my posts to see where I have trained what I have liked and what I haven't liked and I will reveal more and more as time goes on.............
The Battle Begins.........
